Marishka Hargitay!

There are 2 types of people in this world, those that love Mike Myers movies, and those that...no wait, there are three types of people in this world, those that love Mike Myers movies, those that hate Mike Myers movies and those that really want to like them, but just don't get it!

If you fit into the first category but have yet to see "The Love Guru", then do yourself a huge favour, go rent it from Mr video and watch it asap!

I fall into the category of those that have always loved Mike Myers movies and, yes Wayne's World will always be my favourite but man, I laughed in this one. Is it corny? YES, Is it below the belt? ABSOLUTELY, Is it clever? HELL YEAH, Is it classic Mike Myers? OF COURSE! With lines like "If your Uncle Jack helped you off an elephant, would you help your Uncle jack off an elephant?" and "Lets make like a baby and Head Out" you gotta believe that this is Mike Myers at his worst, and for me thats the best! This is a rotten tomato and I loved it!

This movie got sooo many bad reviews but when I read them, I realised something, the people that gave this movie bad reviews just don't get it. Its meant to be bad people, its really meant to be over the top and yes, if you didn't appreciate Wayne Campbell you certainly won't like Guru Pitka!

Be warned, this movie is a contender for "Worst Movie Ever Made" with so many bad reviews. however, people like Mike Myers do this their whole life, hoping to reach a small portion of us - the ones writing the reviews are sadly not in that portion.

There is funny and there is "give in to it" funny, do yourself a favour, shed your bogus pre-eminence and take an electric carpet ride with Guru Pitka and remember, thats G-U-R-U, as in GEE, YOU ARE YOU!
